ALPINESTARS Tech-Air 10 Race System Long Base Layer

The Tech-Air® 10 Race System Long Base Layer is more than just a base layer - it is the connecting element between the latest airbag technology and maximum comfort for demanding motorcyclists. Developed specifically for use with the Alpinestars Tech-Air® 10 Race System, this technical garment impresses with a close-fitting, ergonomic fit and clever material combinations.
With strategically placed stretch zones on the chest, back and thighs as well as breathable mesh inserts, the base layer ensures unrestricted freedom of movement and excellent ventilation - even under high loads. The compressive fit actively supports the muscles and can help to reduce fatigue on long or intensive rides.
The system is as intuitive as it is effective: simply close the front zip and the internal strap and the airbag system is ready for use. A wireless LED display, which can be attached to the arm or motorbike, provides information on the system status at all times. In race mode, the system is programmed so that it is only active at actual race speed (from approx. 60 km/h for at least 10 seconds) - ideal for use on the track without false deployments at slow speeds or in the pit lane. The Tech-Air® 10 system is equipped with a powerful, certified lithium-ion battery that provides up to 24 hours of riding time. If time is short: a charging time of just 1 hour is enough for approx. 6 hours of use. Charging is convenient via the magnetic USB-C cable supplied.
Particularly practical: the base layer can be easily attached to the airbag thanks to side zips and washed separately if necessary. Despite all the technology, the weight remains pleasantly low - just 2.3 kg (size M) for the complete system including base layer. In addition, the integrated airbag is certified for up to three deployments - each deployment is checked by an authorised service centre before a full service is required.
Via Bluetooth connection to the Tech-Air® app, riders can view the system status, battery level and personal MyRide data at any time and download firmware updates for the latest algorithms - so the protection is always state-of-the-art.
